Gaffney, SC - Clayton Junior Keller, 91, of 531 Fairview Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at his residence.
Born in Newport, Tennessee, he was the husband of the late Barbara Allison Keller and son of the late James Arthur Keller and Otha L. Reece Keller. He retired from Timken, was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Clay Keller (Ashley) of Simpsonville; a daughter, Christie Delashmet (Sonny) of Gaffney; seven grandchildren, Kayla Ruppe (Brad), Cole Delashmet (Kirsten), Chase Delashmet (Jessica), Cross Keller, Cade Keller, Stone Keller and Anderson Hayes; five greatgrandchildren, Jared, Allie, Brayden, Addi and Charlie and one on the way, Oakleigh. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eric Keller, four brothers, L. D. Keller, Robert Keller, Jack Keller and Bill Keller and two sisters, Bonnie Keller and Ruth Keller.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Funeral services, with military honors, will follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Dr. Terry Duvall officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
