Gaffney, SC - Cynthia "Cindy" Smoak Parker, 57, of 190 Oak Creek Circle, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Summerville, she was the wife of Gregory Charles Parker and daughter of Edna Fennell Smoak of Gaffney and the late David Louis Smoak, Sr.
She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Rutledge College, was employed as a nurse at Goucher Elementary School and later as a secretary at Limestone Central Elementary School, and a member of New Harvest Church of God. She loved the Lord and her family, fishing, being a grandmother, and traveling to the mountains and the beach.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are two sons, Nicholas Charles Parker (Ivey) of Greenville and Zakary Louis Parker of Gaffney; a daughter, Hayley Parker (Mike Clary) of Anderson; two sisters, Marie Cooper (Robert) and Jodie Smoak, both of Gaffney; two sisters-in-law, Rachel Smoak of Gaffney and Gina Cofield (Andy) of Easley; a grandson, Jace Nicholas Parker and two expected grandchildren, Pierce McKinley Parker and Ridge Charles Clary; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Louis Smoak, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025 at New Harvest Church of God.
Memorial services will immediately follow at 6:00 PM at the Church with Reverend Robert Wells officiating.
