Gaffney, SC - Daisy Elizabeth Peeler Dobbins, 89, formerly of 1233 Leadmine Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Cherokee Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of the late Paul B. Dobbins Jr. and the daughter of the late Roy Peeler and Millie Cora Kennedy Peeler. She was a retired LPN from Cherokee Medical Center. Mrs. Dobbins was a longtime member of Parks Hills Baptist Church.
Surviving is a son, Mike Dobbins (Jaymie) of Gaffney; a son-in-law, Ric Rhyne (Emberly) of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Eric Dobbins, Katie Rhyne Clopton (Brandon) and Josh Rhyne (Anna); five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dobbins was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Rhyne; six brothers, Pierce Peeler, Floyd Peeler, Marvin Peeler, Roy Peeler, Howard Peeler and Fulton Peeler; and three sisters, Millie Morrow, Christine Reynolds, and Naomi Dillard.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Alan Peeler officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
