Emmaree Peeler Obituary
Gaffney, SC - Emmaree Price Peeler, 92, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.
She was born in Cherokee County to Thomas J. Price and Mary Scruggs Price. She was married to Dave M. Peeler for 46 years who she loved dearly. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gradus A. Price (Vergie) and Thomas E. Price (Mae), and two sisters, Thelma Price Harris (Dean) and Ruby Price Bridges (James). She loved her Lord and tried to serve him daily. She was a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by two nieces and two nephews she felt like her children, Martha Barnes (Donnie) and Merle Bostic, Eugene Price (Pat) and Mark Bridges (Ann); a dear friend, Harry Porter, and a furry buddy "Miss Kitty".
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bob Finley, Reverend Alan Peeler and Mr. Mark Bridges officiating. Interment will be in the Cherokee Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cherokee Creek Baptist Church, 501 Buck Shoals Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
The family will be at their respective homes.
