Franklin Lee Edwards, age 64, of 706 New Street, Gaffney passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Gaffney and was a son of the late Willie Lee and Sarah Oglesby Edwards. He was the husband of Jamie Sarratt Edwards.
"Frank", as he was known by many, was a graduate of Gaffney High School, Class of 1979. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. For many years he worked as a Truck Driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a sister, Linda Edwards Duncan.
Frank leaves to cherish loving memories: his wife, Jamie Sarratt, of the home; two sons, Daniel Tron Thompson (Kanisha), of Boiling Springs, SC and Franklin Edwards, II, of Gaffney, SC; a brother, Rev. Milton B Edwards (Rhonda), of Gaffney, SC; two sisters, Wanda Edwards Proctor (Hubert), of Columbia, SC and Marilyn Edwards Taylor (Rick), of Gaffney, SC; a brother-in-law, Rev. William L.C. Duncan, of Gaffney, SC; four grandchildren, Kaniya Thompson (Jerell), of Boiling Springs, SC, Laila Thompson, Kadence Thompson, Kadence Thompson, all of Gaffney, SC, and Malieah Hall, of Belmont, NC; nieces,. Nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 12:00 noon, in Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Michael A. Bridges officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at the home.
