Grace White Obituary

Cowpens, SC - Grace Winter White, 84 of 179 Woodwind Drive, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in San Francisco, CA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Frederick Winter and Ellen Johanna Johnsen Bobbitt and stepdaughter of the late Lysle Bobbitt. She retired from Nestle, formerly worked at Stouffer's Thrift Store, drove a school bus, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her family, painting and gardening.

Surviving is a son, George White (Rebecca) of Cowpens; two daughters, Shelly White of Newark, CA and Katherine Sharpton (Davon) of Mayo; four brothers, Regan Bobbitt, Daniel Bobbitt, Galen Bobbitt and John Bobbitt, all of California; two sisters, Lisa Brooks and Lori Bobbitt, both of California; three half-sisters, Nancy, Denise and Pam, all of California; seven grandchildren, Jordan Martin, Natalie White, Sianna White, Jared LaRoche, Aidan White, Cody Barner and Grace LaRoche; two great-grandchildren, Harley and Austin McDaniel; a step great-grandchild, Jessika Bowers; numerous nieces and nephews in California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Lysle Bobbitt.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Shriner Children's Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family will be at their respective homes.
