Gaffney, SC - Hubert Hope Martin, 78, of 214 Springwood Drive, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his residence.
Born in Smyrna, SC, he was the husband of Linda Bealmer Martin and son of the late Robert Neal Hope Martin and Cora Elizabeth Wright Martin. He retired from Timken, was a U. S. Army veteran, and of the Baptist faith. He loved his family and playing golf with his brother.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Jeffrey Martin of Gaffney; two daughters, Jaime Thomas (Josh) of Gaffney and Kelly Poole (Andy) of Greer; two brothers, Neal Martin, Jr. and R. Frank Martin, both of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Austin Jeffers, Dylan Martin, Corry Alexander and Jacob Thomas (Emilie); three great-grandchildren, Declyn Alexander, Mia Martin, Reed Thomas, and one expected grandchild, Everleigh; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Martin, Billy Martin and Timothy Martin.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Interment will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
The family will be at the residence, 214 Springwood Drive, Gaffney, SC 29340.
