Gaffney, SC - Janice Marie Gwinn Ogle, 65, of 329 Mintz Farm Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Cherokee Medical Center.
Born in Spartanburg, she was the widow of the late Boyce Wayne Ogle and daughter of Rose Marie Deal Gwinn of Spartanburg and the late Everette Michael Gwinn. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School where she was the valedictorian of her senior class, a homemaker, and a member of Love Springs Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and cooking.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Kyle Ogle (Charity) of Gaffney; a daughter, Jessica Smith (Chad) of Gaffney; two brothers, Mike Gwinn of Union and Raymond Aycock of Columbia; four grandchildren, Haley Smith, Emily Ogle, Kylie Ogle and Case Ogle; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jamie Gwinn.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1886, Gaffney, SC 29342.
The family will be at their respective homes.
