Blacksburg - Jeremy Brooks Duncan, 41, of 237 Griggs Street, passed away on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, at his home.
Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of James William Duncan Jr. and Frances "Tanny" Humphries Hambright. Jeremy worked in construction, loved racing go-carts, and was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Duncan is survived by a daughter, Lillian Amoria Duncan, of Blacksburg; three brothers, Bryon Duncan (Stacy) of Blacksburg, Shannon Duncan (Carla) of Gaffney, and Clay Duncan of Blacksburg; a step-sister, Renee Griffin (Elton) of Chesnee; nieces, Kyla Duncan (Zachary) and Alexis Duncan; nephews, Josh Duncan (Ashley), Garrett Duncan (Grace), and Dillon Duncan (Brandi); and many great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ricky Nelson Hambright, his grandparents: David and Betty Jo Dickson, Bill and Mearl Duncan, and C. Herman Humphries, and an uncle, James Brittan Humphries.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 6th from 4pm until 5pm at Gordon Mortuary. A Memorial Service will follow at 5pm in Gordon Mortuary Chapel. The family will be at the home of his brothers.
