We lived across the hall from one another at Chamberlain-Hunt, and Richard's room was right next to mine. So sorry to hear of his passing.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. John Stowell. He came into our family´s life during a time when my grandmother needed help with her leg. He performed the surgery on her leg and was able to get blood flowing again in that leg. He said had we got her to him just 6-months earlier, he could´ve saved the leg. We´re grateful to him just the same My grandmother loved him as well as all of the family. I´m glad that ours paths crossed in this life. God bless you. Rest In Peace, Dr. Stowell.

Though not a part of my life today, Johnny and I shared many family memories from the past. I will always remember his smile, laughter and deep love and devotion for his family, including treating my son, Richard like his own. He will always be remembered and missed. Now he is with Momma Stowell and her other boys. Deepest condolences for your loss. Dianne Stowell-Ryan

He was my Grandmother's Doctor and she was crazy about him. He is a very good doctor. But no doctors nor surgeons are needed in heaven...rest in peace with our Lord Dr. Stowell and thanks for being such a blessing to our family! Dana Jefferies
