Joyce Deal Obituary
Gaffney, SC - Joyce Ann Allison McBee Deal, 82, of 123 A & T Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at her residence.
Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Doc T. Allison, Sr. and Lorene Johnson Allison. She retired from textiles and was a member of Love Valley Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. She loved her Lord and family, loved to read the Bible and sewing.
She is survived by a son, David McBee, Jr. (Brandy) of Gaffney; two daughters, Sheila Brenes and Melissa Hall (Mike), both of Gaffney; a sister, Patsy Whitesides of Gaffney; seven grandchildren, Patrick Brenes, Lori Brenes, Rachel McBee, Tobey McBee, Anna McBee, Brooke Stunkard (Josh) and Wesley Jackson (Kasey); several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Doc Talmadge Allison, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend
Barry Philbeck and Reverend Joel Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cherokee Children's Home, P.O. Box 1896, Gaffney, SC 29342.
The family will be at the home of David & Brandy McBee, 244 Hillcrest Drive, Gaffney, SC 29340.
