Gaffney, SC - Kaye Adams Wade, 81, of 503 College Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Peachtree Centre.
Born in Gainesville, GA, she was the wife of William Henry Wade Sr. and the daughter of the late John D. Adams and Martha Washington Adams. She enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking and crafting. Mrs. Wade was a retired secretary and a member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, also surviving is a son, Reverend William "Bill" Wade Jr. (Elyse) of Gaffney; a sister, Martie Barnes of Lenoir, NC; four grandchildren, Hannah Wade, Nathan Wade (Hailey), Daniel Wade and Katie Wade; a great-grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wade was preceded by two brothers, Jack Adams and Bobby Adams.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend William "Bill" Wade Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 919 Overbrook Drive, Gaffney, SC, 29341.
The family will be at their respective homes.
