Chimney Rock NC - Lisa Peeler Brady, 53, of 197 Southside Drive, went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2024.
Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Joel Peeler and Nancy Ruppe Peeler. She was formerly employed by Peeler Rug Company and a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church. She loved her family, friends and music.
She is survived by a son, Gates Brady of Salisbury, NC; a daughter, Shelby Brady of Raleigh, NC; a brother, Steve Peeler (Cindy) of Charlotte, NC; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rutherford County Hospice, Boone Hospice, Danny and Alice Holland, Crissy Blanton and Frank Whitney.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Hunt, Dr. Daryle Hawthorne and Reverend Tripp Biggerstaff officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 374 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC, 28043 or Medi Home Hospice, 404 West Fleming Drive, Suite E, Morganton, NC, 28655.
The family will be at their respective homes.

Lisa was a very sweet person,we were classmates and was recently was in touch when one of our former classmates had passed. We shared some good memories of high school, Lord knows she will be missed. My condolences to the family. #restwelllisa
