Spartanburg, SC - Matthew "Matt" Allen Long, 68, of 120 Mimosa Road, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, he was the son of the late Curtis Allen Long and Ju- dith Mae Keen Crowe, and stepson of the late R.V. Crowe. He retired from construction and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed working and was very mechanical.
Surviving are three sisters, Evamarie Long Cummings of Spartanburg, MaeLee Scwartz (Tony) of Montana, and Tina Crowe Lemer of Anderson; a half-sister, Terry Lynn Long of North Carolina; a step-sister, Miki Cochran of Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marc Curtis Long, and a brother-in-law, Irvin Cummings.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
