Michael Cody Obituary
Gaffney, SC - Michael Wayne Cody, 68, of 266 Baker Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.
Born in Cherry Point, NC, he was the husband of the late Bonnie Eheman Cody and son of the late David Wayne Cody and Beverly Rea Maple Cody. He retired from Freightliner and was a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints.
Surviving is a son, Jonathan Wayne Cody (Desiree) of Gaffney; a daughter, Abi Reed (Raven) of Gaffney; a brother, Carl Wayne Cody (Holli) of Kansas; four grandchildren, Jacob Kirk Cody, Emma Grace Cody, David Wayne Cody and Kit Reid; a nephew, Spencer Cody of Kansas; a niece, Danielle Jackson (Simon) of Kansas.
The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 1:45PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gaffney. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM at the Church. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
The family will be at the residence.
