Randy Thrift Obituary
Cowpens, S.C. - Randy Dean Thrift, 65, of 118 Washington Street, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 8, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Lois Jean Ruppe Thrift of Cowpens and the late Charles Defoy Thrift. He was formerly employed by Grants Textile and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two daughters, April Bryant and husband, Kevin of Boiling Springs, SC and Laura Thrift of Cowpens; a grandson, Kellen Bryant. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Allen (Red) Thrift and a grandson, Camden Bryant.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Craig officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Greenville Children's Hospital, 701 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
The family will be at the home of Lois Thrift, 114 Washington Street, Cowpens.
