Rennie Zucker

1976 - 2022

Blacksburg - Rennie Roxanne Zucker, 46, of 184 Craton Road, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of George Zucker and Patricia Whiten- Mullins. Rennie worked as a Transportation Supervisor for Cherokee County Schools in Blacksburg, and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Blacksburg. She enjoyed eating out with her father and family, horseback riding, and whitewater rafting. She enjoyed various adventurous activities and was always on the go.

In addition to her parents, surviving Ms. Zucker are her fiance, Danny Bayne, two sons, Vincent Hudson, of Blacksburg and Andrew Hudson, of Shelby, NC; one daughter, Haley Blanton of Blacksburg; two brothers, Douglas Zucker, of Gaffney and Jason Zucker, of Gaffney; three sisters, Robin Zucker Hulsey of Gaffney, Holly Zucker of Blacksburg and Anna Zucker, of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Kayleigh Beason of Gaffney, Harlie Beason of Gaffney, Vanna Hudson of Gaffney, Isabella Zucker Wyte, of Gaffney; and a special friend, Nikki Beason.

Ms. Zucker was preceded in death by one brother, Josh Zucker; step-mother, Frances Zucker; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Sellers and Rev. Knotts officiating. Interment will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Jeremy Duncan, Matt Zucker, Lucas Hall, Bob Girard, Jimmy Bayne, and Jeremy Bayne will serve as pallbearers. The Blacksburg bus drivers will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will be at 184 Craton Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
