Cowpens, SC - Ricky Carol Marshall, 45, of 250 Goforth Street, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Cherokee Medical Center.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the husband of Maria Leimbach Marshall and son of Rickey Carol Marshall, Sr. (stepmother Kristie Marshall) of Inman and Pamela Hunsucker Allwardt (stepfather Gary Allwardt) of Appleton, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of Dorman High School, a project manager of Asplundh Tree Service, and coowner of Sling'n Wood Bowling Pro Shop in Asheville. Ricky was a professional bowler, a member of the S. C. Bowling Hall of Fame, and accumulated eighty-three 300 games and fifteen 800 series. He was also an avid golfer, loved his family, and was a member of Eden Wesleyan Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are four sons, Mitchell Lambert of Charlotte, Troy Martin, William Marshall and Levi Marshall, all of the home; a brother, Paul Marshall (wife Colleen) of Moore; numerous relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. The family requests casual clothing, bowling shirts and flip flops just like Ricky would want.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: SC USBC Association (Bowling), 153 Sandy Lane, Gaffney, SC 29340.
The family will be at their respective homes.
