Gaffney, SC - Robert Wayne LeMaster, 80, of 117 Hill Top Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 5, 2026 at his residence.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Elsie Stafford LeMaster for 59 years and son of the late George Wayne LeMaster and Elizabeth Thompson LeMaster. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, a graduate of Limestone College, attended Clemson University, and retired from Alcoa after 30 plus years of service. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran, a founding member of the Grassy Pond Volunteer Fire Department where he served for over 50 years, and a life-time member of Grassy Pond Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Director, served on the Disaster Relief Team, and served on numerous other committees. Robert loved his Lord, his church, and his family. He was a proud grandfather and he always made sure to tell people how deeply he loved his bride and how lucky he was to have married her. He enjoyed playing golf, collecting Case knives, and was an avid Clemson Tiger fan.
In addition to his wife, also surviving are two daughters, Kimberly LeMaster Eubanks (Edward) and Angela LeMaster Bailey (Preston), both of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Cody Bailey (Whitney), Becca Segina (Grayson), Carly Bailey (fiancé Coby Epley) and Jillian Eubanks; a great-grandson, Wade Segina; a niece, Allison Peebles of Florence; a nephew, David Peebles of Sumter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Wayne LeMaster, and Robert's infant twin brothers.
The family will receive friends from 2:30PM until 4:00PM on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Grassy Pond Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00PM at the Church with Reverend Martin Hogg and Reverend Mark Gregory officiating. Interment, with military honors and honors by the Grassy Pond Volunteer Fire Department, will be in the Grassy Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.
