I remember Rodney as first drummer.
This was back when not to many Gospel Groups in Shelby and Gaffney had drummers. He was there when we won our first 4H Talent contest.
To the McDowell Family, My Deepest condolences.

To the McDowell Family,
The class of '79' is so terribly saddened by the passing of our classmate, Rodney. We extend our condolences to you during your time of bereavement. Rodney was a loving caring guy that exemplified that to his classmates. It was a pleasure to see him at our 45th Class Reunion. His warm spirit will be sorely missed by us all.
