Shirley Pennington

Blacksburg - Shirley Mae Bolin Pennington, 89, of 626 Dravo Road, passed away on November 04, 2025 at home. Born on May 04, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Howard Eugene and Wilma Henderson Bolin.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Harvey, of Gaffney; and one brother, Howard Eugene "Gene" Bolin, of Gaffney.

Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Judy Puckett, of Gaffney, Debbie White (Billy), of Blacksburg, Linda Cobb, of Blacksburg, Mary Wyatt (Robert), of Gaffney; brother, Roger Bolin; 17 grandchildren, Shannon, Erica, and Mahlia Puckett, Brandi and Mariana Barraza, Brittney Mode, Chance White, Johnathan, Chris, and Amber Cobb, Stacy, Eric, Harvey, and Ramie Pennington, Phillip and Wade Wyatt, and Holly Varnadore; 28 greatgrandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, November 7, 2025 from 1:00-2:00 am at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney, 211 East Frederick Street, Gaffney, SC. Funeral services for Mrs. Pennington will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney with Rev. Steven Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Christopher Cobb, Jonathan Cobb, Wade Wyatt, Phillip Wyatt, Eric Puckett, Chance White, Eric Harvey, and Ramie Pennington will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the home of Billy and Debbie White, 626 Dravo Road, Blacksburg, SC.
