Steve Arrowood Obituary

Gaffney, SC - Steven "Steve" Ralph Arrowood, 62, of 904 W. Buford Street, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Ralph Arthur Arrowood and Inez Wyatt Arrowood. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, attended the University of South Carolina with a track scholarship and ran track for the college, and a member of Crestview Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and Gaffney Indians fan.

Surviving are two sons, Steven Arrowood, II and Jacob Arrowood, both of Spartanburg; two sisters, Kathy Perrine (Robert) and Diane Yelton (Raymond), both of Gaffney; four nieces, one nephew and several great-nieces and greatnephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 6, 2021 in the Crestview Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: MUSC Foundation, "Transplant Department", 18 Bee Street MSC 450, Charleston, SC 29425.

The family will be at their respective homes.
