Cowpens - Steve Thomas McQueeney, 57 of Cowpens, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at his residence.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Ruth Ann Parker McQueeney and son of the late James Thomas Patrick McQueeney and Brenda Lowe Frady, and stepson of the late Wayne Lynch Frady. He was a retired electrician and of the Christian faith. He loved his family, gardening and woodworking.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 32 years, is a daughter, Jessica Lage; two sisters, Wendy McQueeney Moore and Heather McQueeney; grandchildren Miles, Carson and Rose Miller; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Parker.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Love Springs Baptist Church. Memorial services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the church with Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Shriner Children's Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
The family will be at their respective homes.
