Timothy Varner Obituary
Gaffney, SC -Timothy Dwaine Varner, 38, of 355 Norman Boulevard, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Jessica Allison Varner and son of Timothy Wayne Varner and Ann Crow Varner of Gaffney. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, employed by Auriga Polymers as a supervisor and member of the fire team, and a member of the Salvation Army Church. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, woodworking, model cars, music and movies.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are three sons, Michael Allison (Chelsea) of Gaffney, Hunter Allison (Abby) of Cowpens and Scott Varner of the home; a daughter, Kaylea Varner of the home; two brothers, James Crow (Jessica) of Gaffney and Jason Crow (Jackie) of Roebuck; a brother-in-law, Scott Allison (Michelle) of Gaffney; a sister-in-law, Stacy Bates (Matt) of Gaffney; six nieces, Maddie, Emily, Anna, Mackenzey, Aubrey and Maycee; two nephews, Mavrick and Bryant; his grandparents, James & Katherine Crowe of Gaffney and Walt & Marjorie Hall of Spartanburg; two grandchildren, Walker Allison and Huxley Allison, and a granddaughter on the way. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dwaine Varner and his grandmother, Mary Crowe.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Major James Allison and Major Lisa Davis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105- 1905.
The family will be at the residence, 355 Norman Boulevard, Gaffney and at the home of his parents, 211 Gardner Road, Gaffney.
