Miss Veronique Camp Hughes, 49, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, in Cleveland.
She was a daughter of Mrs. Lucy Jones Camp and the late Miles Rayford Camp. She was predeceased by her father and a sister, Marlo Camp.
In addition to her mother she leaves to cherish loving memories: her husband, Edward "Lil Man" Hughes; three sons, Edward Devonte Hughes, Rayford Hughes and Devoen Hughes, both of Gaffney, SC, Donte Hughes of South Carolina; her grandmother; Mary Jones, of Kentucky; a sister; Inger Camp Johnson, of Shelby, NC; three nieces, Porchia Daniels, Lexus Johnson, and Delorean Johnson; five grandchildren, Jeremiah, Sha'miyah, Devonte, Devoen, Jr., and Milo Hughes; a host of other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 3:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with The Reverend Dr. Timothy L. Hunter officiating.
The family is receiving friends at 2308 Mason Street, Shelby NC.
