Wayne Arrowood Obituary
Spartanburg, SC - Reverend Wayne Dexter Arrowood 67, of 500 Howard Street, Unit 110, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Renee Howard Arrowood and the son of the late James Arrowood and Shirley Arrowood. He was a graduate of Chesnee High School, loved singing and loved his family and his Lord. Reverend Arrowood was a retired minister and a member of Johnson Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, also surviving are two sons, Wayne Arrowood Jr. and Dewayne Arrowood, both of Spartanburg; a daughter, Brenda Deskin (Donnie) of Shelby; a brother, Randy Arrowood of Gaffney; two sisters, Brenda Smith (Carl) of Chesnee and Joyce Lee (Dennis) of Spartanburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Reverend Arrowood was preceded in death by a brother, James Arrowood.
The family will receive friends from 12:00- 1:00PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Full Salvation Church of The Living God. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00PM at the church with Reverend Ricky Pridmore officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes.
