Cowpens, SC - Zeb Henry Searcy, 75, of 119 Blackman Circle, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Rutherfordton, NC, he was the husband of Edith "Edie" Kay Sammons Searcy and son of the late William Searcy and Lillian Lowery Searcy. He was the owner/operator of Searcy's Body Shop & Towing for 45 years, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and an active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he was an assistant Sunday School teacher. He loved his family, helping others, ministering to young people, golfing and was a volunteer with Jerusalem Project.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Jackie Tucker (Scott) of San Antonio, TX; a son, Josh Searcy (Ashley) of Cowpens; children from a previous marriage, Henry Searcy (Anita) and Michael Searcy, both of Indiana; a brother, Dean Searcy (Tammy) of Mayo; three sisters, Alma Jean Ray (Randy) of Chesnee, Peggy Williams (Dennis) of Inman and Kay Murray (Joe) of Campobello; three grandchildren, Lauren Searcy, Caleb Tucker, Leanna Tucker and other grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children from a previous marriage, Ronnie Searcy and Diana Kay Searcy, a brother, Ernest Gene Searcy and a sister, Helen Searcy Wilkie Mills.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Reverend David Watkins officiating. Social distancing and masks are requested.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 250 Mt. Olive Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.

The family will be at their respective homes.
