ROSE BOKS Obituary
Ms. Rose Ella Boks, age 69, passed away November 20th, 2017 at the Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, FL. Ms. Boks was a member of Williams Tabernacle Church of God By Faith, High Springs, FL, where she served with the Home Mission Society, as a Choir member and a Worship Leader. Ms. Boks was employed with the University of Florida until her retirement, and Winn Dixie.
She is survived by her siblings; James W. Boks (Annette), Miramar, FL, Ailean Berger, Cleveland, OH, Betty J. Roberts (Johnny), Rosa Henry both of Boynton Beach, FL, Irene Mims, Jacksonville, FL, Mae P. Lee (Elijah), Rochester, NY, Elaine McCormick, Decatur, GA, Daisy B. Watson, Ft. White, FL, Earnestine Smith, Arlington, TX, and Jerrie L. Hampton (Jessie), High Springs, FL.
Funeral Services for Ms. Boks will be held, 11:00am, December 2nd, 2017, at William Tabernacle Church of God By Faith, Elder James Williams, Pastor, Superintendent Willie McKnight, Officiating; burial will follow in Mariah Cemetery, Ft. White, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N. W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL.
Ms. Boks will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 1st, 2017 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm; the family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Ms. Boks will repose on Saturday at the Church from 10:00am until the hour of Service. Family and friends are asked to meet on Saturday at the home of Elder Jessie and Jerrie Hampton, 18436 N.W. 232nd St., High Springs, FL, at 10:15am to form the Cortege.

Where do I find the words to say how much this beautiful lady meant to me. I met her over 16 years ago and never stopped loving her. As the years passed I grew to love her like she was my own mom. She's gone now and my heart hurts so bad because I will miss the times we spent together at dinners, birthday celebrations, and our trips to the COGBF National Conventions every December. I will look for you at Thanksgiving, Christmas and our occassional sunday meeting spot "OLE TIMES" family restuarant in Lake City, Fl. but I won't see you. I'll miss you something aweful, but you will forever be in my thoughts and my heart. Rest on Ms Rose I'll see you in that great getting up morning!!

To the family of Sis. Rose Boks, so sorry to hear of the passing of this dear sweet woman. She was a joy to have known and worked with (U of F Physical Plant). She had a beautiful smile and contagious laugh and a life of holiness. She will be missed by many.

Sister Boks was an angel. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. I will cherish the many, warm memories when we worshipped together with the late Bishop Walter Camps and his family in Keystone Heights back in the 70s. May God bless the family.
