Arthur Donald Strathern, Jr. of Watkinsville, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at his residence. Visitation was from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Little & Davenport Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at 3:00pm, Sunday, May 21, 2023, in the Little & Davenport Chapel. Interment followed the funeral service in the Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville with military honors. Strathern (David Field), Arlington, VA, daughter, Peggi (Rick) Nall, Warner Robins, Ga., stepsons, Stephen (Sonny) Standridge and Phillip Standridge, 8 Grandchildren, Nicole (Glenn) Fisher, Warner Robins, Ga., April Benton, Leominster, MA, Sean Standridge, Bogart, Ga., Stephen (Jolene) Standridge, Commerce, Ga., Dillion Standridge, Watkinsville, Ga., Michael Standridge, Florida, Daniel Standridge, Watkinsville, Ga., Anthony, NM, Stephen (Amy) Nall, Warner Robins, Ga., Ericka Weber (Jon), 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive.
