Carl Ridley Obituary
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009, in Concord Baptist Church. Interment will be in Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce Morgan will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ridley was a member of Concord Baptist Church, The Clermont Masonic Lodge and The Kiwanis Club of Gainesville. Mr. Ridley was a retired hospital administrator and a native of Lumpkin County. He is survived by his son, Carl Ridley Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; and his daughters, Elizabeth White of Pleasanton, Calif., and Deberah Slade of Suwanee; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville or the Children's Center of Hope and Healing, 615 Oak St., Gainesville, GA 30501.

Carl was a true gentleman, a loyal Kiwanian and a good friend. At 96 he had more energy than most of us who were much younger. His infectious positive outlook on life will be greatly missed. Our prayers and sympathy go out to his family.
