Charles “Sonny” Dill Obituary
He was born and lived in Gainesville, Ga., until moving to Eustis, Fla., in 1999. He owned and operated Truck Parts Warehouse, Gainesville, Ga. Sonny was a member of Bay Street Baptist Church of Eustis, Fla.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Dill; daughters, Deborah Diane Dell of Galveston, Texas, D'Arcy Denise (Jim) Minkos of Kennesaw, Ga., Deidre Dallas (Todd) Jackson of Gainesville, Ga.; grandchildren, Amber Beasley, Charles Dell, William Dell, Amanda Minkos, Sarah Cahill and Rebekah Jackson; great-grandchildren, Zoe Cahill and Hailey Cahill.
Memorial Donations may be made to Bay Street Baptist Church, www.baybc.org/donations.

Barbara, I am so sorry to hear of Sonny's passing.Sonny was my mentor when I started at Slack's and taught me the parts business.He will be missed. Sonny and I went to lunch together and played golf.He was a friend and co worker. I will be praying for you and the girls.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Sonny. I remember Sonny very well from my early years at Doug's Drive IN with my parents. We lost mother March 2012 and Daddy December 2013. Sonny was mentioned on a Facebook page, Gainesville Businesses of Days Gone By, just the other day. It brought back many memories. It has been many years since I had seen him. My parents were Martha and Doug Meeks.
