Ginny Ann Gibson Obituary
The daughter of the late William Earl and Annie Geneva Ellis Abercrombie, Ginny was a homemaker all of her life, and a Christian, who had an amazing walk with the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Lonnie Gibson; brother, Eddie Abercrombie; and sister, Joyce Robinson.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Stephanie Gibson, Murrayville, Ga.; daughter, Kelly Gibson, Gainesville, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Mark Payne, Murrayville, Ga.; Mandie and Chris Kidd, Gainesville, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Bobby Lee, Dahlonega, Ga.; Georgia and Danny McDonald, Murrayville, Ga.; grandchildren, Hannah, Chase, Collen, Milea, Carson, and Hayden Kidd; Noah and Bethany Jackson; and Kassidy Payne.
Funeral services for Ginny are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, Ga.
The Rev. Bernice Collins and the Rev. Brian Johnson will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, April 11; from 5-9 p.m. Friday, April 12; and from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday, April 13.

Although I haven't seen Aunt Ginny in many many years, I have fond memories of her, especially her beautiful brown hair and big brown eyes. When I was kid I even named one of my dolls Ginny because she was so pretty like my Aunt Ginny. I'm so sorry for your loss. Mom, Aunt Shirley, sends her condolences. She also loved Ginny very much and was thrilled when she become her sister-in-law. May you all find comfort and peace from each other. Anita and Shirley Freeman.

We were so sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved Ginny. We attended schools, the old Murrayville school and Lanier and North Hall with Ginny many years ago. We remember her as an extremely sweet and kind person , also a very pretty girl. Our most sincere sympathies are with your family. We never saw her again after school but the memories will live on.
