Loretta Marie Elder Chisolm Obituary
Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, March 3, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. Wallace Pruitt will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, 2014, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chisolm was born on Dec. 29, 1929, in St. Clair Co., Mo., to the late Nathaniel Elder and Myrtle Elder. She was a retired dietician from University of Georgia – Camp Wahsega. She also had a degree in beauty school; she was a member of Lakeview Hills Baptist Church. She enjoyed square dancing, crocheting, cooking, sewing, games, reading and camping. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Walter D. Chisolm of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Darrel Michael and Linda Chisolm of Gainesville; daughter, Sherrie Lue and Lanny Anderson of Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law, William Patrick and Robin Chisolm of Clermont; brother, Ivan Elder of Parkville, Mo.; friends, Tom and Joann Davis of Gainesville; friends, Gary and Verna Struphar of Annville, Pa.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, is in charge of arrangements.
