Mrs. Davis was born February 2, 1939 in Jacksonville, FL to Margaret and John E. Jones. She was a fun loving mother, grandmother & wife. She loved her family & friends, was artistic & always drew a special birthday card for family members, loved living on the lake, loved to fish & kayak, & always had her chocolates hidden around the house for her & her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patricia Jones, brothers Scott Jones & Allen Jones and granddaughter Ashley Nichols. Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 63 years, Fermon Clyde Davis, III, daughter & son-in-law, Laura & Nick Nichols, son & daughter-in-law, Keith & Melissa Davis, daughter Kim Cooper, son & daughter in law, Kris & Holly Davis, sisters & brother in laws, Wylene & Don Lyles, Jennifer & Danny Suber, brothers & sister in laws, Laverne & Joyce Jones, Wayne & Brenda Jones, Kenneth Jones. Grandchildren Emily (Michael) Jones, Sarah (Cole) Smallwood, Brooke (Russell) Freeman, Brian (Sylena) Davis, Brenton Davis, Davis Mendez, Kameron Cooper, Hannah(Chris) Barnes, Wyatt Davis, Abbie Davis, 9 great grandchildren and a number of nieces & nephews. Celebration of Life services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eagle Ranch, PO Box 7200, Chestnut Mtn., GA 3050. We shared many “happy times” with Margie over the years...since high school days and beyond. She could always bring a smile to your face, and we will miss her...She was a joy to be with, and we loved her like our sister. We send prayers for Sonny and family, and we ask God to be with you always...With love...The Club’57 ladies (and the fellows too.)
