Dear Ms. Kitty & Mr. Don,

sorry for being unable to attend Ms. Polly's service. Thank you for allowing me to cross paths with her. She was a very lively and spirited person; her sense of humor very refreshing.
May the LORD Jesus comforted you both in this time of grief. Be of good cheer for she was heaven-bound.

To Polly's family,

I met Polly at bible study a couple of years ago. She seemed a lovely lady. She and couple of our mutual friends and I went out for coffee one morning after bible study. She told us her story about coming to the US on a ship. She talked about all the military wives and babies. She was one of those many people I'd like to have known better. You were blessed to have her as your mother.
