Peggy Baugh Obituary

Mrs. Peggy (Roquemore) Baugh, age 62, of Nantucket Drive, Alto, Ga., passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at New Horizons West Nursing Home in Gainesville, Ga., following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Franklin Gibson and the Rev. Jon Beck will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Baugh was born in Lamar County, Ga., and was the daughter of the late Ralph Roquemore and Hazel (Griffin) Roquemore. She was a financial advisor for 38 years. She worked for the Federal Reserve for 36 years and was in Alto for the past 3 years. She was a loving wife, stepmother, sister, daughter and aunt. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Roquemore.
Mrs. Baugh is survived by her husband, Robert Baugh, Alto; stepdaughter, Kendra Baugh Childers, Gainesville; brother, Bill Roquemore, Austin, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Helen Roquemore, Auburn; sister, Terri Mathews, Macon; sister-in-law, Karen Roquemore, Clayton; five nephews and 3 nieces; and a special companion, her dog, Kayce.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Research, Houston, Texas.

Peggy was a dear friend of mine, she and I worked together many years at Federal Reserve Bank. I visited her on Wednesday prior to her death and we shared some good memories. She was good person and always found some good in everyone she met, she will be missed.
