Susie House Obituary
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. House was the daughter of the late Edd Thomas Pierce and Martha Irene Porter Pierce. She was a self-employed entrepreneur, land manager and a member of Springway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her stepson, Lane L. House; brother, Dennis Pierce; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Patsy Pierce; sisters, Bennie Mae Brantley and Polly Chatham; sister and brother-in-law, Cherry and Joseph Kinney; special loved one, Charlene House; godson and wife, Jerry and Wanda Tilson and their family, Spencer, Nathan, Blake and Chastidee. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. House is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Earnest House; brother, John Wesley Pierce; sisters, Frances Ann Wilson, Sarah Ruth Pierce; nephew, Kim Wesley Pierce; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Blanton and Maude Cagle House.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at the Springway Baptist Church. The Rev. Junior Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and again Sunday from 12:30 until 3:30 p.m.
