To the family,
I wish to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Vance Cagle. I share your loss as he was always a very special person to me. I believe God places people in our lives and I know he sent Vance into mine as I trusted him and followed his advice regarding my teenagers, car troubles, financial and political advise.
I enjoyed the stories of his grandbabies as each one came along.

He was a wise and loyal man as he dedicated himself to caring for and loving his family and his friends.

In my prayers,
Nancy

Mary, Jeanine, Kenneth and all the grandkids and family. I am so sorry I didn't get to make the funeral. I hope you know I will never forget Vance, he was my favorite of all my Dad's buddy's. We even have the same Birthday! Even though we have not seen each other in a long time I have always remembered him especially on my birthday 11-5. I will never forget all the crazy foods he would get me to eat! (turtle stew) yuck! and all the fun times we had riding motorcycles, dune buggy's, and camping at Bald Mountain Park. I loved him dearly and will never forget him. He was a wonderful, loving, caring man. I know he loved all of you so much. I know you are all going to miss him terribly, but just know he is in heaven and he is not suffering anymore and you will get to see him again one day. I will keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts. I pray for God's hand to come down and heal your breaking hearts and give you peace within. Please let me know if there is anything at all our family or I can do to help you in anyway get through this. We love all of you!! Penny & Mike Dale

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
