Sad news indeed! Although I hadn't seen Everett in more than twenty years, I thought of him often. We spent many hours fishing on Lake Lanier and he was a wonderful mentor to a wild young man, though I didn't recognize it at the time. He will always be a good friend!

Have known Everett as a trusted friend since he came to Griffin,Ga., as a RPX.I especially remember our outdoor adventures--fishing/hunting! My youngest son Frank worked for him in the stock room at Beal's Professional Pharmacy after school which included some great fishing trips!!!I have many, many fond memories and would like to send my most sincere condolence to Judy.Malvina and Warren.

So sorry to hear about Everett. I knew him way back in in the late 40's early 50's as life guard and swimming teacher at Valdosta Country Club. Enjoyed so much reading his books and seeing him again in Valdosta at his book signing. Dr. Parrott joins me in sending our love and deepest sympathy to all of you
