Susanna , I just found out today about Ed’s passing . With the spread of COVID I have been out of touch with most of my friends. I didn’t even know that he had been in the rest home . I admired Ed . I looked at him as a brave hero that served his country as a jet pilot . Ed was one of those people that I just clicked with . I really liked the guy . I am truly sorry for your loss .

To Susan, Mary and Karen, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your husband and brother. Our paths have not crossed very much in the recent past, but I do remember how very kind and thoughtful he was to my mother, Harriet Goshorn, after the death of my father. I know she was very pleased and thankful, as I am that he was there for her.

To Susan and the Koehl Family,
We've all known each other for over sixty years and words cannot express the sorrow of Edgar's passing. Our sincere condolences to the Koehl family and extended members. Edgar always had a tall tail and we laughed at the time Susan and Ed were in San Diego for a newspaper convention and almost sank a boat in San Diego Bay(not funny at the time). Somewhere there's a picture of Cap't Ed in his jet smoking a cigar high above Mother Earth. What a charecter! To Mary and Karen, your brother was a special friend and will live forever in our hearts.

To Susan and the Koehl Family,
What an honor and pleasure to play golf with. I am not sure if anyone enjoyed the game of golf as much as Ed. More importantly than anything was just to know him and have a conversation. He could talk about any topic or subject. A great story teller.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Our prayers and thoughts are with all of the Koehl Family.
