Allen Lutz Obituary

Allen M. Lutz, Sr., 77, of Brisbin, PA, died on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at his home.

Born on June 27, 1948 in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Frank & Helen (Rapach) Lutz. He married Gloria M. Kephart on November 27, 1971 in Houtzdale, PA; she survives at home.

Allen was of the Christian Faith.

He was the former owner & operator of Lutz Garage in Brisbin, PA. And was a 1966 graduate of Moshannon Valley High School.

Allen enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gene F. Lutz.

In addition to his wife, Allen is survived by two sons, Allen M. Lutz Jr. & his wife Lisa of (Sanborn) rural Houtzdale, PA and Nathan M. Lutz of Brisbin, PA; a sister, Barbara A. Henry & her husband Russell of Myrtle Beach, SC; and two grandchildren, Grant Lutz and Raya Lutz.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., in Osceola Mills, PA with Paul Yarger officiating. Burial will be at Sanborn Cemetery in Houtzdale, PA.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2025 and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
