Clifford H. "Butch" Dunlap

1949 - 2024

Clifford H. "Butch" Dunlap, age 75 of Winburne, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

Born July 25, 1949 in Bigler, he was the son of the late Clair, Sr., and Ornetta Casher Dunlap.

Surviving are his children, Bobby Dunlap, and wife Sarah Haney-Dunlap, Winburne; Terri Lewis and fiancé Chris Hubler, Morrisdale; grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Travis Gummo, Noah, Gavin, and Johnna Dunlap; great-grandchildren, Austin Overcast and Raelynn Gummo; and a sister Carol Dunlap, Curwensville and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clair Dunlap, Jr., and a nephew, Clair Dunlap III.

Clifford loved to socialize and was very well known in the community. He was a life member of the Winburne Volunteer Fire Company, Winburne, and a past Assistant Chief in the 80's. He was a past member of Clearfield County Fireman's Association and Central District. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the Winburne Volunteer Fire Company; all emergency personnel and the community, for the out pouring of support and kindness from everyone.

Friends and family will be received on January 4, 2025 at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, Allport from 10-11:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor Julia Piper; Gary Jewert, CLP; and Lay Minister Fredrick J. Ferguson officiating.

There will be a luncheon immediately following service at the Morris Twp. Recreational Center Deer Creek Road, 1104 Deer Creek Road, Morrisdale.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made in "Butches" memory to: Winburne Volunteer Fire Company, #1, 1162 Main Street, Winburne, PA 16879.
