Irene Fickes Obituary
Born on September 27, 1954 in Farmington, New Mexico she was the daughter of the late Juanita (Martinez) Stinson.
On January 24, 1973 she married her husband of 52 years, Lloyd William Fickes. He survives.
Irene loved and cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of everyone else.
Irene retired as a caregiver and had previously worked in management for Wal-Mart, and for the Penn Traffic Company for many years as a Bakery/Deli manager and manager of the Steak 'n Snack Restaurant at the Main Street Riverside/BiLo in DuBois.
Along with her husband, Irene is survived by two daughters (Michelle Briggs and her husband Paul of Concord, NC and Lori DiLullo and her husband Michael of DuBois, PA), six grandchildren (Domenic, Ethan, Nicholas, Alexi, Paige and McKenna), two great-grandchildren (Theodore and Bennett), one sister (Sandra Stinson) and one brother (Kenny Stinson).
She was proceeded in death by two brothers (Charles and Calvin Stinson).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 10am to 12:45pm at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.

I remember Irene fondly. I worked with her a couple of times in the bakery when I was a lot younger. Irene was always patient, kind, & smiling. My condolences to her family.
