Joyce Woods Obituary
Born November 24, 1944 in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Dorsey Preston and Mary Rose (Toubeau) McGraw.
Joyce was a member of the Brisbin Baptist Church.
She was first employed by Matage Clothing Factory and retired from Charles Navasky and Co. where she was employed as a seamstress.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel L. Woods on December 7, 2025 after sixty-one years of marriage.
She is survived by a sister Donna Reiphart and her husband Jack, a brother Preston McGraw and wife Kathy, two nieces, Elaine (Robert) Rinker, Heather (Mike) Kovac and a nephew Preston (Lizz) McGraw.
Also surviving are a number of great nieces and nephews and two great nephews and a great niece.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Timothy Richardson and niece Darlene Banks.
Joyce was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Family and friends will be received Monday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service officiated by Terry Stiles.
Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brisbin.
