Mark Alan Kuhn

1961 - 2026

Mark Alan Kuhn passed away on March 25, 2026.

Mark was born to parents, Richard and Ruth (Cartee) Kuhn Kendig, January 13, 1961 in Hagerstown, Maryland.

He graduated from Fannett-Metal High School, Willow Hill, PA.

Mark was a farmer and truck driver until several years ago when serious health complications made doing what he loved impossible.

Some of Mark's fondest memories were from the time he spent as a specialized heavy hauler driving for Daily Express Trucking. In addition to driving truck, Mark enjoyed time with friends and family, hunting trips, being in the woods and watching wild life, and tractor pulls. He would travel far and wide for a good tractor pull.

Mark had many friends, and he loved sharing stories of his great adventures with anyone who had a minute to sit and listen. He cared deeply for his sweet Labrador, Princess, and cat,Tinkerbell.

Mark is survived by: stepfather David Kendig of Greencastle, PA; children Robert G. Kuhn of Altoona, PA, David A. Kuhn (Holly) of Philipsburg, PA, Cassandra J. Stanton (Brian) of Philipsburg, PA, and Angela E. Kuhn of Carlisle, PA; Grandchildren Jacob and Bailey (David), Camille (Cassandra), and Blade (Angela); Siblings Darlene Smith (Gary) of Waynesboro, PA, Kevin Kuhn (Lindsay) of Chambersburg, PA and George Kuhn (Karen) of Greencastle, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

After 40 years apart, Mark was reunited with his 1st wife, Patricia O'Donnell of Munson, PA, and her children-Vickie Earnest (Thomas) of Spring Run, PA, and Curtis Kurtz (Katie) of Mechanicsburg, PA, and her grandchildren-Nevin, Sage, Corbin, Kixten, Keegan, Kinsley, and great-grandson Knox.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents Richard M. Kuhn and Ruth V. Cartee Kuhn Kendig, and one brother Richard (Ricky) M. Kuhn Jr.

Mark was affiliated with Grace United Methodist Church of Philipsburg, PA.

There will be a celebration of life to honor Mark on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 1:00PM, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church 11691 Circle Street, Shade Gap, PA 17255. Please bring a covered dish and any pictures, special memories and stories to share as we celebrate his life together--Mark loved food, friends, and family gatherings.
