Mark Powers Obituary

Mark E. Powers, age 67 of Falls Creek, PA died Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at his home.

Born on July 22, 1956 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Emery F. and Josephine (Chase) Powers.

On September 10, 1982 he married his wife of 41 years, Dixie Surkala Powers. She survives.

Mark had worked at Jackson China Company, and Rockwell International.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a sport memorabilia collector and enjoyed fishing. Mark had a big heart for animals.
Mark is also survived by one brother (Russ Powers and his wife Margaret of Wake Forest, NC) and one sister (Penny Lee Reasinger and her husband Perry of DuBois, PA).

He was preceded in death by one sister (Lisa Powers).

As per Mark's wishes, there will be no public visitation and all services will be private.
