Martha Joyce Pulcini of Osceola Mills, PA affectionately known as; "Birdie", peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at her home on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the age of 87.
Born on June 24, 1937, in Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania, Martha was a cherished daughter of the late William M. Bainey and Bella Mae (Carmack) Bainey. She was a 1955 graduate of former Osceola Mills High School. She was united in marriage to Eli Pulcini on October 8, 1960, and together they shared 65 years of unwavering love and devotion.
A woman of deep faith, Martha dedicated her life to serving others and glorifying God through her many talents. She was a gifted organist and pianist, lending her musical abilities to several churches over the years. Her culinary skills were equally renowned. As the head cook for Cherry Tree Christian Campground, she nourished both body and soul. Martha was also a talented seamstress, baker, and cake decorator, bringing joy and comfort to many through her creations.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, William, George, Roy, and Jim Bainey, and her sister Janet Albright.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Eli Pulcini; her children Karen Cantolina (Mark), Elaine Maraia (Chris), Leonard Pulcini (Lori), and Cheryl LaRock (Bruce); her grandchildren Casey Greer, Tyler Maraia (Anna), Cole LaRock (Betsi), Angelo Pulcini (Rachel), Cody LaRock, Olivia Cantolina, Dominic Pulcini (Nikki), and Nathan Maraia; and her great-grandchildren Helix Greer, Lorelei LaRock, Eli LaRock, Gabriel and Laela Parks, Fallyn and Stella Pulcini. The funeral service will be held Wednesday May 28, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, Osceola Mills, PA, with her grandson the Rev. Tyler Maraia officiating. Friends will be received Wednesday May 28, 2025 from 12 noon to funeral time at the funeral home. Martha will be laid to rest at Umbria Cemetery, a serene resting place in her hometown.
Martha's legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
