Phillip Whitsell Obituary

Philip W. Whitesell, Sr. age 69 of Weedville, PA died Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.

Born on October 17, 1955 in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Earnestine (Flanders) Whitesell.

Phil was a truck driver for the majority of his career. He was self-employed and had also worked for Rick Krishart Auto Salvage. In his earlier years, he was a heavy equipment operator. Phil's life was centered around his family. He took great pride in taking care of, and spending time with each of them, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his children (Jennifer Shook of Charleston, SC, Angie Alsbaugh and her husband Chaz of DuBois, PA, Philip Whitesell, Jr. and his wife Christina of St. Marys, PA, Jessica Duell and her husband Matt of Weedville, PA and Jimmy Antonelli and his fiancé Jess of Weedville, PA), seven grandchildren (Destiney, Alexandra, Ariel, Brandi, Riley, Alexis & Josephine), and his partner of 32 years, Lynn E. Antonelli).

Phil was preceded in death by two sisters (Amanda & Sherry).

There will be no public visitation and a service will be held at the convenience of the family.
