Robert Nelson Obituary
Born on January 19, 1934 in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of the late RK and Mabel (Butler) Nelson.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy having served as a 3rd Class Petty Officer during the Korean War.
On September 21, 1957 he married Esther R. Muccio. She preceded him in death on April 29, 2018.
Bob retired as Executive Vice President of S & T Bank after 38 years of service. He was a member of DuBois Lakeside Church where he had been very active in church affairs. During his career, Bob served on various Boards of Directors in our community.
He is survived by his two children (Debra Showers and her husband Steve and David Nelson and his wife Pam, both of DuBois, PA), four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one brother (Leo Nelson and his wife Shelva of Reynoldsville, PA).
He was preceded in death by three brothers (Edward, Frank and Leonard Nelson).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10 AM from DuBois Lakeside Church with Pastor Brett Dinger and Pastor Peggy Senior co-officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
