Rodger Krause Obituary
Born on September 1, 1936 in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of the late William F. and Florence E. (Hartman) Krause. He married Marie H. (Nelson) Krause on September 25, 1954 in Yellow Springs, PA and married for 67 years: she survives at home.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Nancy Bradford; one great-granddaughter, Taelin Goss; two sisters, Betty Miles and Helen Dinant; five brothers, William "WD" Krause, John Krause, Wesley Krause, Jim Krause and Harry Krause; and two sons-in-law, Mike Sabol IV and Dave Cassick.
Along with his wife he is survived by: six daughters, Susan Mason & her husband Dusty of West Decatur, PA, Donna Merritt & her husband Danny of West Decatur, PA, Janet Richner & her husband Mark of West Decatur, PA, Judy Krause of Philipsburg, PA, June Sabol of West Decatur, PA and Lori Shimel & her husband Jody of West Decatur, PA; one son, Mike Krause & his companion Pam Askey of West Decatur, PA; two sisters, Jean Hamer of York, PA and Kathryn Ross of Delaware; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 18,2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Pastor Michelle Bodle officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 17,2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
